Role Overview.
As a Section Supervisor, you will oversee, organize, and manage all activities within your designated section of the production area. Your responsibilities will include assigning tasks to staff and ensuring productivity and performance meet established service levels.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular floor walks to manage production start-up procedures, ensuring optimal labor levels.
  • Facilitate Return to Work interviews and participate in daily review meetings and team briefings.
  • Analyze and challenge performance metrics, including quality and throughput rates.
  • Perform audits on daily technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with the First Line Coordinator on operational completion tasks.
  • Ensure proper handover documentation for the incoming shift and maintain cleanliness in the packing area.
  • Review productivity metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assess training needs within your team and manage the development process.
Ideal Candidate Profile.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the food production sector.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of retailer standards and expectations.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage your team in a high-pressure environment.
