About Our Operations.
Our facility in Boston specializes in producing chilled Italian ready meals and modern deli products, employing over 700 dedicated individuals.
Role Responsibilities.
As a Section Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate all activities within your designated section of the production facility. Your responsibilities will include managing staff assignments, monitoring productivity, and ensuring that performance targets are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular floor walks to manage production start-up processes, ensuring optimal labor levels.
- Facilitate Return to Work interviews and participate in daily review meetings.
- Assess and challenge performance metrics related to quality, throughput, and crew efficiency.
- Perform audits on daily technical documentation.
- Support the First Line Coordinator with DWOR completion.
- Ensure a thorough handover for the incoming shift and maintain cleanliness in the packing area.
- Analyze productivity data to identify areas for enhancement.
- Recognize training needs within the team and oversee the implementation of development plans.
Candidate Profile.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the food production sector.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong understanding of retailer standards and compliance.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage team members in a high-pressure environment.
