Our Boston facility specializes in producing chilled Italian ready meals and modern deli products, employing over 700 dedicated individuals.
Role Responsibilities.
As a Production Section Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate all activities within your designated section of the production facility. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting floor walks to manage start-up processes, ensuring smooth transitions between shifts.
- Performing Return to Work interviews and participating in daily review meetings.
- Analyzing performance metrics related to quality, throughput, and staffing levels.
- Auditing daily technical documentation for accuracy.
- Assisting the First Line Coordinator with operational tasks.
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment for the oncoming shift.
- Reviewing productivity reports to identify areas for enhancement.
- Recognizing training needs and managing the development process for team members.
Candidate Profile.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the food production sector.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong understanding of retail standards and compliance.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage your team in a high-pressure environment.
