Overview:
We are looking for a committed Compliance Coordinator to support our operations at a prominent Tier 1 contractor.

In this pivotal role, you will ensure that our projects adhere to the highest standards of compliance within the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee that all operational activities align with legal and industry standards, including health and safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Keep precise records of compliance efforts, generate audit reports, and ensure all compliance documentation is current and readily available.
  • Risk Management: Detect and address potential compliance risks, collaborating with management to establish effective mitigation strategies.
  • Training and Support: Offer training and support to employees regarding compliance issues, ensuring that all team members are well-informed of their obligations.
  • Audit Coordination: Aid in the preparation and organization of internal and external audits, ensuring all required documentation and processes are properly established.
  • Continuous Improvement: Work alongside the compliance team to assess and refine existing policies and procedures, ensuring their effectiveness and relevance.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in a compliance role, ideally within the construction sector or with a Tier 1 contractor.
  • Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of regulatory frameworks in construction, including health and safety, environmental, and quality management standards.
  • Skills: Strong organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and capacity to handle multiple priorities under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to effectively relay compliance information to personnel at all levels.
  • Qualifications: Relevant certifications in compliance, risk management, or a related discipline are advantageous but not mandatory.
