Supplier Compliance Specialist - Competitive Salary

Key Responsibilities:

As a Supplier Compliance Specialist, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for executing comprehensive KYC assessments on prospective suppliers. Your efforts will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facilitate an efficient onboarding experience.

  • Conduct thorough due diligence on potential suppliers, confirming their identity, legal standing, ownership structure, and financial health.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies throughout the supplier onboarding process to minimize risks.
  • Maintain precise and current records of supplier data, documentation, and compliance activities within the designated system.
  • Prepare regular and on-demand reports regarding supplier onboarding progress, compliance status, and identified risks for management evaluation.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of a sustainable procurement strategy aligned with the organization’s social value objectives.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Prior experience in supplier onboarding, KYC/KYS, compliance, or a similar field.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices related to supplier due diligence and KYC/KYS processes.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail with the capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems for documentation and data management.
  • Self-driven, capable of working independently, with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with the COUPA platform is advantageous but not mandatory.
