Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive due diligence on potential suppliers, verifying their identity, legal status, ownership structure, and financial stability.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies during the supplier onboarding process to mitigate potential risks.
  • Continually assess and promote sustainable and responsible procurement practices.
  • Review and validate supplier-provided documentation, such as business licenses, tax identification numbers, financial statements, and other relevant records.
  • Assess the risks associated with new suppliers based on the outcome of KYC assessments and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to determine appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers to collate required documentation, address queries, and facilitate a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supplier information, documentation, and compliance-related activities in the designated system.
  • Collaborate with procurement, legal, finance, and cyber security teams to ensure alignment and timely execution of the supplier onboarding process.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on supplier onboarding processes, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on supplier onboarding activities, compliance status, and potential risks for management review.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in supplier onboarding, KYC/KYS, compliance, or a related role.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in supplier due diligence and KYC/KYS processes.
  • Knowledge and understanding of LSEG World Check.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
