Supplier Compliance Specialist - Competitive Salary
Are you an experienced compliance professional with a background in Know Your Customer (KYC) processes? This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a newly established procurement operation, playing a vital role in enhancing supplier onboarding protocols. Key Responsibilities:
As a Supplier Compliance Specialist, you will be integral to a team focused on executing comprehensive KYC evaluations for prospective suppliers. Your efforts will ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and facilitate an efficient onboarding journey.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential suppliers, confirming their identity, legal standing, ownership structure, and financial viability.
- Guarantee compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies throughout the supplier onboarding process to minimize risks.
- Maintain precise and current records of supplier data, documentation, and compliance activities within the designated system.
- Produce regular and ad-hoc reports detailing supplier onboarding progress, compliance status, and identified risks for management assessment.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of a sustainable procurement strategy aligned with the organization's social value objectives.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in supplier onboarding, KYC/KYS, compliance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in supplier due diligence and KYC/KYS processes.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- A keen attention to detail with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems for documentation and data management.
- Self-driven, capable of working independently, and open to challenges, with effective time management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with the COUPA platform is advantageous but not mandatory.
