Job Description

Job Title: Quality Assurance and Compliance Specialist

Job Summary:

Premier Group is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance and Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance and Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess electrical product compliance and reliability for relevant regulations and governing bodies
  • Work with the Design and Manufacturing team to ensure products are in line with standards
  • Lead compliance and regulatory activities to improve product and process reliability
  • Work with other teams to meet CE regulations
  • Assist in the auditing process for the facility
  • Ensure that components are manufactured with environmental standards in mind

Requirements:

  • Qualified in Engineering (NVQ/HNC/HND/Degree or similar) or qualified by experience
  • Experience in a similar Quality, Compliance, Certification, Reliability or similar role
  • Industry experience within Engineering and Manufacturing
  • Previous experience working with industrial electrical products
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Exposure to various governing bodies and regulations
  • Capable of leading compliance and reliability activities
  • Previous experience with an ISO9001, AS9100, IATF16949 or similar
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Self-motivated and positive attitude
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Keen to develop with the company long term
