Overview:
RBU Sales UK Ltd t/a iRecruit UK is in search of a committed Compliance Coordinator to enhance our client's operations at a prominent Tier 1 contractor.

Situated in either the Horsham or Watford offices, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our projects adhere to the highest standards of compliance within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee that all organizational activities align with legal and industry standards, encompassing health and safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Sustain precise records of compliance initiatives, compile reports for audits, and ensure all documentation remains current and accessible.
  • Risk Management: Detect and alleviate potential compliance threats, collaborating closely with management to execute effective strategies.
  • Training and Support: Offer training and assistance to personnel regarding compliance issues, ensuring that all team members comprehend and fulfill their obligations.
  • Audit Coordination: Aid in the preparation and organization of internal and external audits, ensuring all requisite documentation and processes are established.
  • Continuous Improvement: Partner with the compliance team to assess and refine existing policies and procedures, ensuring their effectiveness and relevance.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Prior experience in a compliance role, ideally within the construction sector or with a Tier 1 contractor.
  • Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements in construction, including health and safety, environmental, and quality management.
  • Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to effectively convey compliance information to staff at all levels.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in compliance, risk management, or a related discipline are advantageous but not mandatory.
