Job Title: Head Chef

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at WAGAMAMA LIMITED. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring that every dish served meets our high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of chefs to achieve high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and stock control.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory, and other kitchen expenses.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of new menu items, promotions, and marketing initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or equivalent role in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a deep understanding of food safety, quality control, and presentation standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering, and stock control.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to drive business growth.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding customer expectations.
