About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Support Officer to join our Project Management Office (PMO) team at Roke Manor Research Limited. As a key member of our PMO team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of projects across our National Security Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Support: Provide expert support to project teams, including delivery management, tracking and monitoring of cross-project dependencies, bid management, and policy and process conformance.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Coordinate the production of reports to support governance, including data analysis, evaluation, and manipulation.
  • Training and Education: Provide education, training, and first-line support on PMO procedures, processes, and tools.
  • Process Improvement: Lead the development and socialization of the PMO service catalogue for the Business Unit.
  • Mentoring and Support: Support the wider team in a mentoring capacity and undertake other reasonable duties as required.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience driving the development of PMO processes, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform applications and experience with project management tools.
  • Qualifications: Preferably an appropriate P3M qualification (P3O, APM, MoP, MSP, Prince2 etc.).
