Job Title: Senior Project Support Officer

As a Senior Project Support Officer at Roke Manor Research Limited, you will play a crucial role in supporting the National Security Business Unit. You will be an integral part of the PMO team, driving the balance between customer needs and delivering strong financial and delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver defined PMO services, including delivery management support, tracking and monitoring of cross-project dependencies, bid management support, and policy and process conformance.
  • Coordinate the production of reports to support governance, collating, analyzing, evaluating, and manipulating data, records, and other information.
  • Provide education, training, and first-line support on P3M procedures, processes, and tools.
  • Support senior management in championing and embedding P3M practices across the organization.
  • Undertake the role of owner for one or more P3M services for the organization.
  • Lead on the development and socialization of the PMO service catalogue for the Business Unit.
  • Support the wider team in a mentoring capacity.

Requirements:

  • Experience driving the development of PMO processes through requirement definition, solution development, process documentation, rollout, and benefits realization.
  • Able to demonstrate a proactive approach and ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience working within a busy PMO or project delivery environment.
  • Experience mentoring other team members.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform applications to support PMO service enhancement.
  • Preferably an appropriate P3M qualification (P3O, APM, MoP, MSP, Prince2 etc.).

Clearances:

Due to the nature of this role, we require you to be eligible to achieve SC clearance. As a result, you should be a British Citizen and have resided in the U.K. for the last 5 years.
