About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Support Officer to join our Project Management Office (PMO) team at Roke Manor Research Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of projects across our National Security Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Support: Provide expert support to project teams, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to streamline business processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain reports to support governance, analyzing data to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Training and Development: Provide education and training to project teams on PMO procedures, processes, and tools, ensuring a high level of competence and consistency across the organization.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Work closely with senior management to champion and embed PMO practices across the organization, leading by example and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in a PMO or project delivery environment, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Qualifications: Preferably an appropriate P3M qualification (P3O, APM, MoP, MSP, Prince2 etc.).
