Position Overview:

At Arriva Kent Thameside Limited, our Bus Operators play a crucial role in the communities we serve. Whether transporting students to school or helping commuters reach their destinations, you will connect our passengers to what matters most in their daily lives.

Compensation Structure:

£15.27 per hour for the initial 7 months of service;

£16.27 per hour on Saturdays and Sundays.

£16.10 per hour after 7 months of service;

£17.10 per hour on weekends.

Qualifications:

  • Valid PCV Licence: Applicants without this qualification should consider our trainee bus driver position.
  • Must be at least 18 years old with a minimum of 6 months driving experience.
  • No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Successful completion of a drug and alcohol test is required during the driving assessment.
  • Weekend work may be necessary based on your schedule, but you will be informed in advance.
