At Arriva Kent Thameside Limited, our Bus Operators play a crucial role in the communities we serve. Whether transporting students to school or helping commuters reach their destinations, you will connect our passengers to what matters most in their daily lives. Your commitment to exceptional customer service will make a tangible impact in the neighborhoods we operate.

Compensation:

Starting pay: £15.27 for the initial 7 months of service;

Weekend rates: £16.27 per hour on Saturdays and Sundays;

Post 7 months: £16.10 per hour;

Weekend rates: £17.10 per hour on Saturdays and Sundays.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid PCV Licence (Candidates without this should consider applying for our trainee bus driver role).
  • Minimum age of 18 with at least 6 months of driving experience.
  • A maximum of 6 penalty points on your driving licence.
  • Strong customer service abilities.
  • Willingness to undergo a drug and alcohol screening during the driving assessment.
  • Availability to work weekends as per your schedule, with advance notice of shifts.
