Position Overview:

At Arriva Kent Thameside Limited, our Bus Operators play a vital role in the communities we serve. Whether transporting students to school or facilitating daily commutes, you will connect our passengers to what matters most in their lives. Delivering exceptional customer service is at the core of our mission, and you will make a significant impact in the neighborhoods we operate in.

Compensation Structure:

Starting pay:

£15.27 for the initial 7 months of employment;

Weekend rates of £16.27 per hour

£16.10 after 7 months of employment;

Weekend rates of £17.10 per hour.

Qualifications:

  • Valid PCV Licence (If you do not possess this, consider applying for our trainee bus driver position).
  • Must be at least 18 years old with a minimum of 6 months driving experience.
  • No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence.
  • Strong customer service abilities.
  • Must undergo a drug and alcohol screening during the driving assessment.
  • Availability to work weekends as per your schedule; advance notice will be provided regarding your shifts.
