Position Overview:

At Arriva Kent Thameside Limited, our Bus Operators play a vital role in the communities we serve. Whether transporting students to school or commuters to their workplaces, you will connect our passengers to what matters most in their daily lives. Your commitment to exceptional customer service will make a significant impact in the neighborhoods we operate.

Compensation:

£15.27 per hour for the initial 7 months of service;

£16.27 per hour on Saturdays and Sundays.

£16.10 per hour after 7 months of service;

£17.10 per hour on weekends.

Qualifications:

  • A valid PCV Licence is required (If you do not possess this, please consider applying for our trainee bus driver role).
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a minimum of 6 months driving experience.
  • A maximum of 6 penalty points on your driving licence is permitted.
  • Strong customer service skills are essential.
  • A drug and alcohol test will be required during the driving assessment.
  • Weekend work may be necessary based on your schedule; however, you will be informed in advance of your shifts.
