About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Yorkshire Building Society. As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Balance Sheet Control function in the delivery of our regulatory deliverables and other critical activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enable successful delivery of required business outcomes
  • Review and improve processes to ensure a robust control framework
  • Build, monitor, and ensure delivery against a project plan, considering resource availability and BAU implications
  • Work with stakeholders to prioritize and agree workload
  • Identify and implement the appropriate governance of deliverables
  • Ensure stakeholders are kept up to date on progress and hold key parties accountable to the plan
  • Provide and share appropriate documentation, including risk and issue logs
  • Support the transition of tasks from development through to delivery and implementation

About You

  • You will have experience of delivering business-focused change and a proven record of delivering process improvement within a highly regulated environment
  • You will possess excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to manage and resolve risk and competing/conflicting priorities
  • You will be comfortable in conversations with and influencing senior management
  • You will be able to demonstrate how you bring your understanding and experience to bear on the delivery challenges you are facing to drive change at the right pace and bring stakeholders with you
  • You will be able to draw on your knowledge and experience of a broad range of industry practices in lifecycle methodologies
