Salary: £28,080

Reporting Structure: Reports to the House Manager

Accommodation: Live-in accommodation available, including all bills, meals, laundry, and free Wi-Fi.

Role Overview:

As the Country House Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the House Manager to maintain exceptional service standards within our establishment. Your responsibilities will encompass various operational aspects to ensure a seamless experience for our guests.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service Excellence: Foster a welcoming environment for guests, ensuring that all service aspects meet our high standards.
  • Front of House Leadership: Oversee the front of house team, ensuring cleanliness and order in all guest areas.
  • Property Maintenance: Assist in managing property repairs and aesthetics, collaborating with maintenance teams to uphold the house's appearance.
  • Team Culture Development: Promote a positive team culture, recognizing the importance of collaboration among staff.
  • Centralized Support: Work with HR and operational support teams to manage recruitment, performance, and health and safety protocols.

Your role as an Assistant General Manager will not only involve management duties but also a commitment to fostering an environment that reflects our brand's excellence. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring that every detail contributes to a memorable guest experience.
