**Food and Beverage Host - Live in**

If you wish to work amongst some of the finest fell views available in the Lakes, look no further than this 4-star country house hotel. With open log fires, 2 AA Rosette award-winning Lakeland cuisine and warm contemporary bedrooms, this hotel is a hidden gem located on the edge of Grange-in-Borrowdale. Our guests are always assured of friendly personal service in a peaceful setting, surrounded by fells close to the shores of Derwentwater.

Location: Grange, Keswick CA12 5UQ, United Kingdom

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour + gratuities

Your Role:

- To welcome & greet each guest as they enter.
- To ensure each guest is served with in a timely manner.
- To ensure food and drinks ordered are delivered in a timely manner.
- To maintain the high standards of cleanliness.
- To provide and promote a welcoming, friendly, personal and professional service.
- To ensure all guest expectations are reached and always exceeded.
- Open and close areas following correct procedure forms.
- To always promote the restaurant / bar and the hotel standards
- To gain guest feedback for the restaurant / bar and the hotel and feed back to your manager
- To assist guests enter the restaurant, carrying their drinks where possible.
- To monitor the quality of food offered
- To control the security of the hotel and Report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence.
- Support your colleagues and assist coaching new starters through their probation periods.
- Maintain and striving to improve standards of service.
- Maintaining a fast and effective service
- Monitoring and keeping a close relationship with the kitchen to ensure guests receive their food in timely manner.
- To be able to professionally take a Food & Drinks order from guests
