Role Overview

Who are we?

With a remarkable growth trajectory since our inception, we are committed to modernizing an industry that has largely remained traditional and paper-based.

Through innovative partnerships, we have developed advanced platforms that streamline the risk placement process for insurance brokers.

Our mission is to continue pioneering the digitization of the insurance market, and we are seeking talented individuals to join us in this endeavor.

Role Purpose

In this position, you will assist the Actuarial Director in overseeing all regulatory and statutory actuarial functions, including IFRS 17 and Solvency II Technical Provisions.

You will serve as the primary liaison for finance teams, providing support across various group functions concerning regulatory and statutory actuarial obligations.

Your responsibilities will include leading the design and execution of IFRS 17 and Solvency II Technical Provisions for reporting at the Syndicate, Group, and Entity levels, leveraging innovative technology-driven solutions.

Additionally, you will coordinate and manage all actuarial calculations involved in the IFRS and Solvency II Technical Provisions processes, collaborating closely with actuarial and finance teams to ensure comprehensive reporting and analytics, including assumptions, calculations, and documentation.

Working in tandem with the reserving team, you will analyze the effects of reserve changes on Solvency II Technical Provisions and IFRS 17 metrics.

By collaborating with your team, you will contribute to the design and enhancement of the end-to-end reserving process, aiming to improve the efficiency and accuracy of outputs and communications through innovative technological solutions.

If you are passionate about leading the design and implementation of process improvements related to regulatory and statutory actuarial functions, this role may be an excellent fit for you. We welcome applications from qualified actuaries with experience in managing teams and possessing expert regulatory knowledge, particularly within the Lloyd's market.
