This department encompasses various aspects of actuarial work, including pricing, non-catastrophe parameterization, and business planning.

- Drive LMRe's approach to Portfolio Management, working closely with Underwriting Portfolio Managers, Data & Analytics, and Operations.

- Promote self-service analytics, delivering insightful and timely Management Information on portfolios, lines of business, and key risks.

- Maintain awareness of the external and competitive landscape to strengthen LM Re's market position and reputation.

Adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements is essential, and demonstrating the behaviors outlined in the Conduct Risk Policy is fundamental to our commitment to Liberty Values.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience in general insurance, reinsurance, or consultancy, demonstrating a strong depth and breadth of actuarial skills and business acumen.

A numerate/scientific degree with a minimum of 1 or equivalent, along with an A/A* in A-Level Maths or equivalent, is required.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential for engaging with a diverse range of internal and external clients.

Proficiency in IT, particularly in Excel, SQL, Python, R, PowerPivot, PowerBI, and DAX, is highly desirable.

You should be adept at utilizing relevant methods, data, and tools to solve technical problems, effectively communicate complex concepts, draw meaningful conclusions, and make informed recommendations.

A strong desire to learn and expand your expertise while supporting various projects and workstreams is crucial.

Experience in a non-life commercial (re)insurance pricing team or in predictive modeling and analytics within the (re)insurance sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
