Senior Actuarial Consultant (Transactions)

Location: London

Work Arrangement: Hybrid model (2 days in the office per week)

Bruin is a prominent mid-sized consulting firm recognized for its collaborative and exceptional workplace culture. We are in search of a qualified actuary to enhance our award-winning Pension Risk Transfer team, noted as the largest and most proficient de-risking team in the industry.

The Senior Actuarial Consultant will play a pivotal role within the team, primarily focusing on the post-transaction phase, assisting clients as they transition from completing a buy-in transaction to buy-out and eventual wind-up. This includes advising on buy-ins, buy-outs, wind-ups, longevity swaps, and consolidation/capital solutions.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • At least 3 years of post-qualification (FIA/FFA) experience
  • Proven experience in a pensions consulting setting or with a bulk annuity provider
  • Familiarity with insurer post-transaction processes and broader aspects of pension scheme wind-ups
