As a Lead Actuarial Consultant, you will collaborate closely with the Actuarial Manager to deliver comprehensive post-sale evaluations and computations related to pricing strategies, reinsurance solutions, longevity risk management, and collateral frameworks.

Role Summary

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the integration of new reinsurance agreements, which includes reviewing and providing feedback on draft contracts and actuarial models.
  • Delivering exceptional support to both internal and external stakeholders, including consultants, trustees, and reinsurance partners.
  • Overseeing and validating the outputs of the Operations Analysts within the Collateral and Reinsurance Services division.
  • Offering actuarial expertise to initiatives pertinent to the broader new business development team.

Qualifications:

  • Part-qualified actuary demonstrating significant progress in actuarial examinations.

Required Experience:

  • Familiarity with Defined Benefit Pension Schemes and relevant valuation methodologies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Proficient time management abilities, capable of meeting stringent deadlines to ensure timely project completion.
