About the Role

As a Numeracy Coach, you will play a vital role in enhancing the mathematical skills of adults within the community. This position is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about numbers and are committed to fostering confidence in everyday numeracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support learners in overcoming barriers to learning, including learning difficulties and mental health challenges.
  • Conduct holistic needs assessments to develop personalized learning plans.
  • Deliver tailored coaching sessions that facilitate progress in numeracy.
  • Establish strong connections with the Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector to enhance service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records and data management to track learner progress.
Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be an engaging and innovative professional with a proven ability to build rapport with diverse individuals. A solid understanding of coaching methodologies and local labor market trends is essential to provide effective information, advice, and guidance.

Experience in delivering person-centered services is crucial, as the learner experience is central to our mission. Business travel may be required.
