Sanctuary Supported Living is excited to announce an opportunity for a Care and Support Assistant within our Physical Disability Service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with physical disabilities in maximizing their independence and potential.
  • Collaborate with clients to establish personalized care and support plans.
  • Document care activities and maintain detailed care records.
  • Deliver high-quality, individualized care, including personal hygiene and medication management.
  • Support clients with daily routines, including getting dressed and personal grooming.
  • Facilitate community engagement by accompanying clients on outings to local amenities and appointments.
  • Encourage social interaction to combat feelings of isolation.
  • Maintain a clean and comfortable living environment for clients.
  • Implement safety protocols and conduct risk assessments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in providing personal care is preferred.
  • A compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of clients.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is advantageous or a willingness to pursue this qualification.
