Job Summary:

Voyage Care Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Male Support Worker to join our team in Lowestoft. As a Specialist Night Support Professional, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centered support to individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, and mental health needs.
  • Implement Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice to promote independence and confidence.
  • Assist with personal care, daily living tasks, and social activities to enhance the individual's overall well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Contribute to a dynamic and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs, including autism, acquired brain injury, and mental health needs.
  • Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including night shifts, and be resilient in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues.
