**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to young people with moderate and complex difficulties in a residential setting.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide individualized care and support to young people with complex needs, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that fosters growth and development.
  • Assess individual needs and develop personalized plans to meet those needs.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Support young people in areas such as personal issues, group work, education, attendance, and achievement.
  • Participate in pupil-centered planning and transition work.

**Requirements:**

  • Experience in residential childcare with children who have educational, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Recognized behavior management training or equivalent.
  • Experience working with young people and/or adults with moderate and complex difficulties.
  • Availability to commit to 2 sleep-ins per week.
  • Commutable to East Anglia.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
