Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Care First UK Recruitment Solutions.

Job Summary:

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic personal care and assist residents with daily living tasks
  • Support residents to cook, clean their room, and maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Ensure residents take their medication and attend appointments as needed
  • Encourage residents to participate in activities and hobbies, such as board games, arts and crafts, and community outings
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in care and support work, preferably with individuals with learning disabilities and autism
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including sleep-ins and weekends
