We are seeking a dedicated hotel receptionist to join our team, working between 16 to 20 hours weekly. The shifts will be scheduled from 7 AM to 12 PM or 3 PM to 7 PM, following a 7-day rolling rota of 3 to 4 shifts each week. The ideal candidate will possess a natural warmth and a welcoming demeanor, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to enhancing the guest experience.

The successful applicant will manage daily responsibilities typical of a hotel receptionist, ensuring adherence to operational standards. Strong telephonic communication skills and a good level of numeracy for processing payments are essential.

As many reservations are made online, familiarity with IT systems, EPOS, and PDQ machines is necessary. A calm and methodical approach, along with a comprehensive understanding of hotel operations, will be crucial. Effective communication with team members is vital to ensure all guest requirements are met efficiently.
