Key Responsibilities

As a Coordinator of Family Support Services, your duties will include:

managing a designated group of students with Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plans in both mainstream and specialized educational environments overseeing progress through annual evaluations and ensuring EHC plans are up-to-date and relevant coordinating and executing EHC needs assessments, ensuring high-quality EHC plans are issued within statutory timelines when necessary providing assistance and guidance to children and young people with an EHCP who have been permanently excluded from educational settings, collaborating with them and their families to identify and facilitate appropriate educational opportunities.

About the Team

The SEND Family Services Team is responsible for all aspects of our family-facing initiatives, supporting individual children and young people (CYP) with SEND and their families throughout their journey. This includes drafting Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP), securing appropriate educational provisions to meet specific needs, and ensuring regular and effective progress reviews, holding providers accountable for addressing the needs of individual children and young people. Our team comprises professionals from diverse backgrounds, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to foster strong collaborative relationships across the education, health, and care sectors.
