Job Title: Software Support Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Support Technician to join our team at Get Staffed Online Recruitment. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our customers, ensuring they have a positive experience with our software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to customers via phone, email, and online support portal.
  • Triage and resolve technical issues, escalating complex problems to senior team members as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve overall customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base documentation to aid in troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date with new technologies and software releases.

Requirements:

  • GCSE English and Mathematics grade C or equivalent.
  • 1 year minimum experience in a software support or customer service role.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of MS SQL and experience with bespoke browser-based applications.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
