Position Title: Sales & Estimating Manager

Company Overview: Our client is a reputable organization specializing in Fire and Security Protection Solutions, with a legacy of over 25 years in the sector.

Role Summary: The Sales & Estimating Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing market presence and driving financial success. This position involves fostering essential relationships, pinpointing business prospects, and finalizing sales agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate all tender and quotation requests.
  • Guide and mentor estimating personnel to ensure precise calculations.
  • Review all tenders and quotes before submission.
  • Engage with clients to discuss tenders and quotes, seek new business opportunities, and maintain ongoing relationships.
  • Strategic planning is vital; the manager will be tasked with developing a robust pipeline of new business opportunities. This requires a comprehensive understanding of the market, the services offered by the company, and the competitive landscape.
  • Identify potential new clients and convert these opportunities into increased revenue.
  • Conduct pre-contract evaluations and negotiations before onboarding new projects and transitioning to the Head of Projects.

Position Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar capacity.
  • Proficiency in estimating, costing, budgeting, and financial management.
  • Strong knowledge of the Fire and Security sector.
  • Exceptional sales abilities, with a documented history of success in sales and business development.
  • Ability to commute to the designated location.
