Job Overview

Brighter Places is excited to offer an opportunity for a Housing Compliance Specialist to become a part of our dedicated team. This position is available on a part-time, permanent basis, requiring 17 hours of work each week. The starting salary is £12,986.62 per annum.

Role Responsibilities:

In this position, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, customer-focused safety servicing program. Your goal will be to ensure that all properties meet and exceed compliance standards. This role is hybrid, with an expectation to be in the office 2-3 days a week.

Key Duties:

  • Facilitating access for safety servicing or inspection activities, including necessary enforcement actions in accordance with our policies.
  • Proactively managing all safety servicing programs to ensure compliance with statutory obligations.
  • Monitoring the operational performance of safety servicing contractors regularly.
  • Overseeing the execution of safety servicing programs, including gas, asbestos, and water safety.
  • Assisting Property Inspectors in delivering the Property MOT inspection program.
  • Collaborating with Housing and Customer Service teams to ensure compliance with our policies regarding recharges.
