Housing Compliance Manager
Carrington West is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housing Compliance Manager to lead a team responsible for ensuring that housing services meet the highest standards of safety, legal compliance, and operational efficiency.
The Role
- Oversee the generation and presentation of monthly and annual compliance performance reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with legal requirements.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, regulatory bodies, and industry partners, addressing any inquiries related to housing compliance.
- Sponsor and manage compliance-related policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), commissioning subject matter experts to validate these documents and arrange audits.
- Manage and develop a team of technical staff, conducting regular one-to-one meetings, providing mentorship, and supporting professional growth.
- Establish and manage the annual compliance testing budget, collaborating with delivery teams to ensure all necessary testing is conducted within budget.
- Explore and implement cost-saving measures through improved working practices or the adoption of new technologies, driving the efficiency of the compliance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement compliance strategies to ensure regulatory compliance and minimize risk.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to staff on compliance-related matters.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven track record in a compliance management role, preferably within the housing or related sector.
- Ability to analyze data, generate insightful reports, and make informed decisions.
- Meticulous in ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
