  • Address Regulatory Risk and Compliance Issues: Identify and address regulatory risk and compliance issues, providing guidance and support to colleagues as needed.
  • Aid in Ongoing Reviews: Assist in ongoing reviews of engagement letters and terms of business to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide Guidance: Provide guidance on legal documentation, framework terms, and contracts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in Onboarding: Assist in the onboarding of firm suppliers, specifically with contract term reviews and due diligence assessments.
  • Review Client Engagement Terms: Review client engagement terms, codes of conduct, and KYC advice to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Advise on Secondment Terms: Advise on secondment terms for new and existing secondments.
  • Assist in Client Pitches: Assist in the prompt delivery of client pitches and questionnaires.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Qualified lawyer with an interest in compliance.
  • Experience: 4+ years PQE with prior experience within a law firm, ideally within a risk management role.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, adept at problem-solving, and possessing a proactive approach to resolving problems.
