About Our Client:

We are recruiting a Risk and Compliance Specialist on behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the legal industry. Our client provides commercially-savvy legal advice and services, and they are committed to delivering exceptional risk and compliance solutions. They are looking for a motivated individual to join their in-house risk and compliance team.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Data Protection Officer and procurement lead to manage data protection, contracting matters, and internal risk management. Provide contract and professional compliance advice for client tenders, retainer letters, terms of business, and supply contracts. Support the firm's approach to procurement and supply chain risk management. Advise stakeholders on the SRA Code of Conduct, data protection, and commercial risk management. Stay updated on data protection developments and their impact on developing legal services technologies. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including senior members of the firm and the Digital Data & Technology team.

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Commercial law expertise with exposure to data protection law. Background in non-contentious commercial/contracting/procurement work. Motivated and passionate about emerging technology and market trends. Excellent strategic project management, planning, and advisory skills.

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Experience in a legal risk and compliance environment. Strong understanding of supply chain management
