Job Summary:

Carbon 60 is seeking a highly skilled Housing Compliance Manager to join its team. As a key member of the Asset Strategy Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of existing and new homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement compliance measures to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead the generation of monthly and annual compliance performance reports, including gas, electricity, water, fire, asbestos, and lifts, to the Executive Members and Regulator.
  • Support the narrative and audit trail, ensuring all reports are accurate and in scope of legal requirements.
  • Respond to internal and external questions regarding housing compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Asset Strategy Team to establish a long-term housing investment plan.
  • Identify properties that require refurbishment and develop strategies for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in housing compliance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
