We are in search of a dedicated and seasoned Housing Compliance Coordinator to join their team and ensure that our housing portfolio meets all regulatory standards.

The Housing Compliance Coordinator will oversee a team responsible for sponsoring, monitoring, and reporting performance metrics to both internal and external stakeholders, including the Social Housing Regulator.

This role encompasses generating the supporting narrative for the 'Big Six' housing compliance areas: electrical, water, gas, fire, asbestos, and lifts.

This position demands exceptional leadership, a meticulous eye for detail, robust organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of housing compliance.


Team Leadership:
Lead and manage a team tasked with compliance monitoring and reporting activities.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure all properties adhere to national housing regulations, including the Housing Act, landlord licensing requirements, and local housing codes.


Performance Monitoring:

Supervise the tracking of compliance performance metrics and guarantee timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders, including the Social Housing Regulator.

Produce comprehensive reports and narratives related to the 'Big Six' housing compliance areas: electrical, water, gas, fire, asbestos, and lifts.

Address inquiries from stakeholders and provide clear, concise, and accurate information regarding compliance matters.

Policy Development:
Formulate, implement, and revise compliance policies and procedures to align with current legislation and best practices.

Audit Management:
Conduct regular audits and inspections of properties to ensure compliance and identify areas for enhancement.

Training:
Offer training and support to property management personnel on compliance-related issues.

Incident Management:
Investigate and resolve compliance-related concerns and complaints.
Maintain precise records of compliance activities, including inspections, audits, and training sessions.

Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with regulatory agencies, legal advisors, and internal departments to ensure compliance standards are upheld.
Comprehensive knowledge of national and local housing regulations is essential.
Proven experience in successfully managing compliance programs and audits is required.
Proficiency in compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.
