We are seeking a highly skilled Housing Compliance Manager - Lead to join our team at Service Care Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a team responsible for sponsoring, monitoring, and reporting the performance metrics to internal and external stakeholders, including the Social Housing Regulator.
Key Responsibilities- Compliance Reporting: Lead the generation of the monthly and annual compliance performance reports, including the supporting narrative and audit trail, for the 'Big Six' housing compliance areas: electrical, water, gas, fire, asbestos, and lifts.
- Stakeholder Management: Support the presentation of the monthly and annual compliance performance report to Councillor, Executive members, and Regulator, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure the compliance performance reports are accurate and the scope of the testing aligns with the legal requirements, maintaining a high level of quality and integrity.
- Team Leadership: Lead the response to any internal or external questions about the housing compliance performance, providing guidance and support to the team as needed.
- Policy Sponsorship: Provide sponsorship for the compliance-related policies and associated Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Analysis and Dashboard: Commission and maintain analysis and dashboard to generate performance statistics and validate results, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- Project Management: Project manage the delivery and assurance of the annual compliance performance reports, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain a network of stakeholders across the service and with partners to enable compliance tests and reporting, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Budget Management: Establish the annual compliance testing budget, working with Delivery teams to ensure adequate resources for required testing.
- Process Improvement: Explore and implement opportunities to reduce the cost of delivering the compliance function through different working practices or the use of technology.
- Reporting Experience: Significant experience in monthly or annual corporate performance reporting, with a strong understanding of quality management systems.
- Data Analytics: Ability to use data analytics to quantify, validate, and audit performance reports, including proficiency in MS Excel or other data analysis software products.
- Compliance Knowledge: Significant experience of working in a compliance, analysis, or information-related role, with a clear understanding of consumer standards and the housing compliance 'big six'.
