Waracle is searching for a visionary Head of Design to lead our design team in crafting innovative, user-centric solutions that align with client business goals and drive strategic growth.

This role demands a leader who combines strong design expertise with a sharp commercial acumen. The ideal candidate will inspire and guide both clients and internal teams, ensuring the delivery of exceptional design across various platforms and channels.

This is a pivotal position within Waracle. The Head of Design will be deeply involved in client interactions, bids, estimates, and pitches, often guiding projects from initial discussions through to development. They are also responsible for leading our design community with a strong focus on quality, people development, continuous improvement, technical and delivery best practices, commercial awareness, and fostering innovation and teamwork across the entire company while staying attuned to emerging market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with sales and delivery leads to develop compelling solutions, estimates, proposals, and client pitches that not only meet client needs but resonate on a deeper level. Thoroughly understand their challenges, concerns, and aspirations, helping Waracle secure both existing and new clients.
  • Communicate complex design concepts effectively to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and fostering a collaborative partnership.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to projects and financial performance, consistently measuring and enhancing outcomes.
  • Lead and inspire our talented design team, nurturing their growth and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Stay abreast of the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure Waracle remains at the forefront of innovation.
