Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will serve as the technical and project lead for large-scale renewable energy consultancy initiatives, primarily focusing on battery and solar technologies, while also valuing experience in other renewable sectors. Your duties will include:
  • Managing project execution for your designated portfolio.
  • Building and nurturing essential client relationships.
  • Overseeing the commercial aspects of projects.
  • Coordinating team resources effectively.
  • Leading, recruiting, and developing team members.

Our Team's Expertise Includes:
  • Conducting net-zero carbon assessments at various planning levels.
  • Providing support for planning applications, including energy strategies and environmental evaluations.
  • Executing climate change assessments.
  • Developing ESG strategies.
  • Performing Life-Cycle Carbon and Cost Analyses (LCCA).
  • Offering consultancy for renewable energy development.
  • Verifying carbon management practices.
Our team is a dynamic mix of engineers and consultants, enabling us to deliver comprehensive project inputs from inception to completion.

Qualifications:

To excel in this position, candidates should ideally possess experience in:
  • Grid connection applications and negotiations for large-scale renewable projects (c20-500MW).
  • Renewable energy and storage development processes, including market dynamics and procurement.
  • Identifying revenue opportunities in renewable energy.
  • Strategic technical knowledge of various renewable technologies.
  • Engaging with TNO/DNO during site viability assessments.
  • Leading technical aspects of renewable energy projects.
  • Navigating planning processes for diverse development scales.
  • Maintaining industry relationships for supply chain engagement.
  • Staying informed about industry developments and their implications.
Additional Preferred Experience:

While not mandatory, experience in the following areas would be advantageous:
  • Business development in renewable consultancy services.
  • Resource planning and project management.
  • Mentoring and developing junior staff.
  • Enhancing internal processes and technical capabilities.
