About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solar Engineer to join our team at Ramboll Group A/S. As a key member of our Solar PV Centre of Competence in Power Systems, you will play a crucial role in delivering consultancy projects in the Solar PV sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Take ownership of delivering consultancy projects in the Solar PV sector, from conceptual stage through detailed engineering to owner's engineering services during execution.
  • Technical Solutions: Develop and implement technical solutions, including designing solar PV layouts for commercial and utility projects, optimizing plant size, and managing infrastructure assessments.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with electrical engineers, BESS experts, and planning consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Procurement: Liaise with suppliers and contractors to obtain proposals and develop project costing.
  • Representation: Represent Ramboll in conferences and renewable energy events.
  • Team Development: Train and guide junior members of the team.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of UK renewable energy markets and excellent project management skills. You will also have a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Engineering and proven experience in the Solar PV or renewable energy sector.
