Private Equity Backed Business Associate Tax Director

Job Summary
This role is an exciting opportunity to join Pro-Tax's dynamic team as an Associate Tax Director, specializing in providing technical advice to private equity backed companies. The successful candidate will have responsibility for a wide range of projects, including post-acquisition support, group reorganisations, transactions, refinancings, and sell-side support.
About the Role
As an Associate Tax Director, you will be part of a national network of professionals advising portfolio companies, working closely alongside Pro-Tax's market leading M&A tax practice. You will have the opportunity to provide value to clients throughout their lifecycle, from immediate post-acquisition actions to advising on growth phase transactions, refinancings, and disposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical advice across a wide range of projects for private equity portfolio companies
- Manage and coordinate input from tax specialists in VAT, employment taxes, management incentives, and share schemes
- Oversee tax reporting and compliance engagements for clients
- Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored tax advice
- Collaborate with other teams within Pro-Tax to deliver high-quality tax services to clients
