About Our Client
We are working with a pioneering private equity firm focused on the agriculture and food sectors. The firm invests in the mid-market and works closely with its portfolio to guide them through rapid yet sustainable growth. It is looking to add a high-calibre investment professional to join its team in London. The candidate will be involved in day-to-day tasks associated with investments and portfolio management and will work closely with the firm's partners on a global basis.
What the Job Involves
- Perform sector, strategic, and financial analysis of target companies
- Hands-on involvement in transaction execution (structuring, tax, due diligence, investment strategy, financial modelling)
- Assist and/or lead in the preparation of models and analyse financial and operational performance of new and existing portfolio businesses
- Support the investment committee
Requirements
- Experience in a private equity investment role. Exceptional candidates may be considered from investment banking, consulting, or corporate finance
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Compelling written and oral communication skills and fluency in English; ability to interact with key stakeholders internally and externally with a wide range of seniority
- Entrepreneurial and a self-starter, willing to get involved throughout the entire deal process
