Private Equity Investment Associate, London

We are collaborating with an innovative European Private Equity firm that specializes in the agriculture and food industries. This fund focuses on mid-market investments and partners closely with its portfolio companies to facilitate sustainable growth. The firm is seeking a talented Associate to enhance its London team. The selected candidate will engage in daily operations related to investments and portfolio oversight, working in tandem with the firm's partners on a global scale.
This position offers the successful applicant the opportunity to gain experience in origination, execution, and exit strategies. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct sector, strategic, and financial assessments of prospective companies
- Participate actively in transaction execution, including structuring, tax considerations, due diligence, investment strategy, and financial modeling
- Assist or take the lead in developing models and evaluating the financial and operational performance of both new and existing portfolio entities
- Support the investment committee in decision-making processes
- Experience in a Private Equity investment capacity; outstanding candidates may be considered from Investment Banking, Consulting, or Corporate Finance backgrounds
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with fluency in English; capable of engaging with key stakeholders across various levels of seniority
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, eager to participate throughout the entire deal lifecycle
