About the Role:

  • You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and development of each young person entrusted to our care. This includes allocating key workers, overseeing staff responsibilities related to placement plans, and actively participating in childcare reviews and planning meetings.
  • Your leadership skills will be instrumental in motivating and guiding your team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of our services by implementing innovative strategies and best practices.
  • As a Residential Deputy Manager, you will act as a positive role model for the young people in our care, demonstrating empathy, compassion, and unwavering commitment to their success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent) is essential.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the Ofsted framework (SCCIF) and relevant legislation, such as the Children Act, is required.
  • Proven experience in team building, supervision, and effective management is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational skills, communication abilities, and a passion for working with young people are essential qualities for this role.
