Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Travel Industry Administrator to join our team at Travel Trade Recruitment. As a key member of our sales support team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our sales floor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the management and sales teams in achieving targets by providing administrative assistance and maintaining accurate records.
  • Manage and distribute sales enquiries to staff, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Oversee the absent consultants' sales desk and handle all correspondence with clients, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor standards of administration on bookings and ensure 100% accuracy of work.
  • Assist with the training of new staff and quality control the general administration work of the teams.
  • Support the Sales Manager with weekly and monthly tasks and reports, maintaining sales office resources and environment.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure seamless operations.
  • Attend product training sessions to stay up-to-date with industry knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a sales support or administration role, preferably in the travel industry.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a passion for delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the Australian travel market and a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
