About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to join our team at Whitworths Ltd. As a Quality Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our food products, from raw materials to finished goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Food Safety: Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential food safety risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Manufacturing Support: Provide technical support to manufacturing teams to ensure that products are manufactured in accordance with quality and safety standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all products are compliant with relevant regulatory requirements, including food safety and labeling regulations.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough investigations to identify the root cause of quality and safety issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to manufacturing and quality teams to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams, to ensure that quality and safety issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality or regulatory role in the food industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as food science, quality assurance, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of food safety and quality regulations, including HACCP and GMP. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
