Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Desk Administrator to join our team at Sheridan Ward Recruitment Services.

About the Role: As a Service Desk Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining stock control, providing weekly updates and reports, logging incoming calls for service support, scheduling engineers, and ordering parts to be delivered to site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock Control Management: Manage and maintain accurate stock levels, ensuring that all necessary parts and materials are available for engineers to complete their tasks.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide weekly updates and reports to the team, highlighting any issues or concerns that need to be addressed.
  • Service Support: Log incoming calls for service support, ensuring that all issues are documented and assigned to the relevant engineer.
  • Scheduling and Logistics: Schedule engineers to complete tasks and ensure that all necessary parts and materials are delivered to site on time.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, such as ordering parts and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with colleagues and clients.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using technical software and systems to manage stock control and schedule engineers.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, providing support and assistance as needed.
